My 16-year-old daughter has joined two SILC Academy programs—sailing around Corsica on a catamaran this summer and an outdoor camp in Switzerland last year—and both were exceptional. The activities were perfectly age-appropriate, combining exciting sports with teamwork, problem-solving, and multicultural friendships. SILC’s staff are highly professional and manage the age range beautifully, creating a safe and inspiring international environment. We are already planning a SILC winter camp next. Parent testimonials summer camps
We’re a Canadian-Lebanese family living in Dubai, and after a thorough search, we enrolled our 16-year-old son in the camp with the hope of helping him break out of his bubble, connect with others, and grow during what has been a challenging phase of inclusion.
At first, he was resistant and hesitant to go — we truly had to push him. But after just one week, he asked to extend his stay… and we’re so glad we did. He had the time of his life, meeting teens from diverse backgrounds, engaging in powerful activities, and receiving incredible support from the coaches.
He’s come back a changed young man — open, confident, talkative, and excited about life. The growth we’ve seen in just two weeks is beyond what we imagined.

Parent experience
This summer, we enrolled our boys in the SILC Creative and Entrepreneurial Summer Camp in Cannes, France. Initially concerned they might need us, we stayed just 30 minutes away from the campsite. However, our 15- and 13-year-old sons were so busy having an amazing time that they hardly contacted us, except for the occasional “Good Morning” and “Good Night” messages. Thanks to the academy’s shared schedule and updates to parents, we were reassured that they were doing well. The camp exceeded our expectations. Our boys returned more confident, independent, and filled with incredible experiences. They had so much fun that they asked us to book for next year, which was a complete turnaround from having to convince one of them to attend this year.The management team at SILC was professional and courteous throughout the entire experience, both in their interactions with us as parents and with our children.This would mark the third summer we book our children with a SILC camp; in 2022 with the boys and our daughter and 2023 with our daughter only at the Lausanne location and now. Same experience as we have come to expect from the Academy.

What an unforgettable experience. My son met people from all over the world, went rafting and hiking in the alps. Don't know what could be a better way to spend two weeks of the summer. He is a picky eater and enjoyed the food and learned a thing or two.

Great Camp! We were told about the Gstaad SILC camp while traveling in the area of Gstaad, and within record time my son was admitted. He stayed just for a week but had a great time , from all aspects of it; food, facility, activities, friends made and especially the hosts and SILC team members who took care of him and made it a great experience. Thanks to SILC it was a great experience and best memory and an experience for him this summer.
