Swiss International Leadership Camp and Academy (SILC Academy) is seeking a dedicated Head of Curriculum and Student Development to join our team. As a key player in our organisation, you’ll be responsible for the development of our curriculum, liaising with international schools to promote and align our school programmes and to ensure the quality of delivery by our wonderful team of trainers. SILC Academy boasts over 15 years of excellence in student leadership development and has forged strong partnerships with prestigious international schools in Switzerland and around the world. We curate bespoke camp experiences, hosting boutique summer and winter camps across Switzerland and France, and organise student leadership conferences around the world. Our programmes blend exciting activities, workshops, and character-building sessions within the SILC curricular framework. By infusing education with enjoyment, we empower students to grow into adept leaders. As our Head of Curriculum and Student Development, you’ll play a crucial role in inviting young minds to embark on this transformative journey.

Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks:

  • Enhancing the educational value of existing programmes and activities as well as designing new ones 
  • Overseeing the implementation of the curriculum and programmes and ensuring quality of delivery by the trainers who you help to grow professionally and recruit.
  • Running and overseeing workshops and activities with student groups on topics such as goal setting, time management, communication, teamwork and conflict resolution
  • Liaising with international schools and families to promote our programmes 
  • Lead and strategize sales efforts for school workshops and school camps and conduct in-depth consultations and meetings with prospective schools to provide a bespoke programme aligned with the curriculum of the schools.
  • Align the programmes you design with your educational team of trainers, operational team and marketing team
  • Represent SILC Academy at international school conferences, fostering global partnerships and networking with key stakeholders in the education and camp industry.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with overseas educational institutions, organizations, and potential collaborators.
  • Collaborating on the preparation and coordination of school, summer and winter camps.
  • Travel to Switzerland and France during camps where you will be assisting the camp manager and the team on-spot with the entire operations of a camp.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Education, Psychology, Commerce, Hospitality, or a relevant area.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally for conferences and camp-related activities.
  • Working experience with Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop, to create captivating visual content.
